Turning Up the Heat on the WA Delegation to End ACO-REACH & Medicare Privatization

On Labor Day, HCHR-WA members Puguet Sound PSARA and Physicians for a National Health Program -WA PNHP-WA ran full-page ads in the Seattle Times, Tacoma News Tribune, Everett Herald, and Bellingham Herald, taking the campaign against ACO REACH to a new level.

The ad recognized that two of our Congressional representatives, Pramila Jayapal and Adam Smith, have come out against this latest attempt to privatize traditional Medicare, and challenged the rest of our Congressional delegation to do the same.

>>> Call the Congressional switchboard at 202-225-3121 and tell your Representative and Senators Murray and Cantwell to support Medicare beneficiaries and not Wall Street and insurance companies. And then share with family, friends, and members of your organization and urge them to take action.

Here’s the ad:

PSARA and PNHP-WA also ran digital ads in the Bellevue Reporter, Kirkland Reporter, Redmond Reporter, and on HeraldNet. Thanks to PSARA and PNHP-WA — we borrowed from their reports.

Note: HCHR-WA does not pay for, nor endorse advertisements on our website.
